Utilising modern technology in the form of filiform needles acupuncture has evolved as a system of specific, prescriptive point stimulation with filiform needles, and may include focused heat application (moxibustion) and even electrotherapy to affect beneficial therapeutic outcomes for many conditions. AHPRA Registered Acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine Doctors have at least 3 years of study and clinical practice before being certified, so you are in well experienced and capable hands here at Lotus Palm. Initial Consultation
up to 60min
Your clinician will take a full comprehensive health and medical history in order to provide a well informed and appropriate treatment plan, and determine suitability of treatment.
This then informs a treatment prescription which may include acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion or remedial Tuina massage therapy if appropriate.
Follow - up
30 - 45min
This is for returning patients with the same main concern or health issue, and treatment will follow your treatment plan.
Your clinician will conduct a brief reassessment screening to keep your treatment evolving, and may make slight adjustments as appropriate.
Additional Information
It is required that all new patients to the clinic book in for an initial consultation to assess their suitability for treatment. If you are a returning patient but have developed new symptoms, you will need to book an initial appointment to allow for appropriate assessment.
